Sometimes the Gospels have a rather extraordinary story in the very story they tell. Once, on top of a high mountain, the Master's face and clothes were completely changed in front of the eyes of his closest friends. He became light for them, and he can also shine in our various dark periods throughout life.
A small piece of my story
I began painting when I was 30 years old, in the year 2000. The brush became my companion during a time when I was going through a major physical health challenge. My encounter with the hard side of life and then an experience with a love so great that I had no words, made me turn to the brush, colors and landscape to describe the oddities of life - the good, true and beautiful, and the dark, evil and the deeply human stuff that sometimes meets us.
Places like Hardanger have given me a hole lot of inspiration to paint when I am there with my wonderful wife, our kids, family and friends.
