Each image is printed on top quality 300 gram art paper and with ink that has a durability of 100 to 400 years. I use FineArt print in Sandnes as my printing house.
Somehow, something inexplicable happened to Christ on the mountain, in a brief moment when he became a light in a dark night, transfigured into something greater than all of us, and yet still our brother and a friend to all of humanity.
A little story about the artist
I began painting when I was 30 years old, in the year 2000. The brush became my companion during a time when I was going through a major physical health challenge. My encounter with the hard side of life and then an experience with a love so great that I had no words, made me turn to the brush, colors and landscape to describe the oddities of life - the good, true and beautiful, and the dark, evil and the deeply human stuff that sometimes meets us.
Places like Hardanger have given me a hole lot of inspiration to paint when I am there with my wonderful wife, our kids, family and friends.
